If you’re at all familiar with me, you know that I love luscious, tactile printed pieces. The kind of printed art that makes you say “Oooh! Aaah! So gorgeous!” and that not only looks amazing, but feels amazing to the touch. So, as part of my April event marketing theme, of course I can’t NOT explore the possibilities of what this tactile experience can do for your event marketing.

Putting a gorgeous printed invitation into your invitees hands is a sure-fire way to capture their attention, and open the door to get them talking about your event!

1) Start with a beautiful design.


2) Add lovely visuals like pearlescent paper or metallic foil.

3) Make it touchable with embossing, laser-cut patterns, or additional elements like bows and ribbons.

4) Want to really make it shine? Add embellishments like this:

And that, ladies and gents, is how you make a drool-worthy invitation. Your guests can’t possibly forget to RSVP, or forget the date of your event, when they can’t stop looking at your invite!
